Yeah I help Eric with the hangouts and testing.

Btw, it's not a picnic table, it's an ironing board:

It's called Extreme Ironing, and it's awesome http://www.extremeironing.com/

(That's a photoshop btw, it's not real. I'm not that that crazy)

How ironic!

But, if it's not real, how DO you get your shirts so crisp, with that Outdoor Fresh smell?

"Magical", like "happiness", is very much an attitude, and not an event one can schedule.

I have lived most of my life in Virginia, enough to consider it my home. I would move back there if I could but, my wife (who is from New Orleans) likes it here in Michigan. She wants to get a small gentlemen farm N or W of where we live in SE Michigan. She has two horses and is fed up with stableing them where she does. So I guess, when I find that farm, it will, as it is for Robes, be our end of the rainbow.

There's a little peach orchard in the Civil War battlefield in Shiloh Tennessee and there's a little log cabin that the soldiers rebuilt for the folks that woke up one morning to a War in their orchard.
That cabin is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

Of course I might need a little insulation and ac at my age.

Here in the UK there are many sweet little quaint villages with thatched roofed cottages and little country pubs with inglenook fireplaces selling the obligatory warm beer we brits love to drink, but not too much in the way of bluegrass or OT music so we do the only thing that we can and bore our spouses with the banjo at home (whilst drinking warm beer of course) so I guess I feel pretty good about living where I do.

I would so like to have been the piano player at the Mustang Ranch, but alas, well you know the rest of the story.

I love my excellent sense of humor. Unfortunately it gets me into trouble, and un-funny people think I'm an idiot.

If I couldn't live here in Rockfield, I would chose Priceville, KY....close to Burba holler!

Like most, I'm living where I love right now. Living anywhere in Canada is like winning the lottery. I am blessed.

I do however have places I would be very content to live in. The coast of Maine, Bailey Island is one. I've spent the last 17 summers there, and its awesome....and the people arn't too bad either. As I get older, the warmer climates in the winter are more appealing also. Theres a little corner of beach outside of Grande Case on St.Maarten that would be just fine for a few months a year....

I was married amongst the red rocks of Sedona, AZ. Truly one of the most beautiful places on earth. Fortunately, my in-laws own a home there and we get to visit fairly regularly. The downside is that it's full of tourists who hear it's beautiful, so stop telling 40,000 people that it's worth a visit. We're trying to keep it quiet.

I've loved reading all your replies!

Where I live now, Leelanau County, Michigan, is a beautiful place - rolling hills dotted with cherry orchards, breathtakingly gorgeous Lake Michigan on all sides. Long winters with lots of snow, which now that I have a 4-wheel-drive truck I am actually looking forward to!

Someday when I'm too old to shovel snow, I'd like a little house on the beach in Mexico.

Pacifica, California: mostly cloudy and cool, with quick access to the delights of San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area. Stipulation: Maximum value earthquake insurance.

Home is where the heat is, so as long as my Beloved Malcolm is with me, I'd be happy anywhere

If you are gonna be out of date, do it right

Anwhere without cold winters; I'll deal with heat and humidity but the cold has become bothersome. The west coast of Florida (around Naples) is looking good right now.
