Yippee! I am booked into your class so that's good news (for me, not so good news for you ). I think it's still showing as "TBC" on the Sore Fingers site. I'm sure you will enjoy the week, it is a great camp.

Also looking forward to getting to one of your concerts next month, Brindley and/or Hyde.

Just a quick note to say we went along to see Tony Furtado play in Hyde, east of Manchester, on Friday night, here in the UK. It was a really horrible wet night but well worth venturing out to catch this gig. It was a good space for music, a room above a pub with 60 people packed in.

Well, I was expecting good things but I must say that Tony's playing on both banjo and guitar, and his singing, and just the general power and emotion of his delivery, just blew me away. He was absolutely FANTASTIC. I introduced myself to Tony at the break as I will be in his class at the Sore Fingers bluegrass camp over here next Easter....he was a lovely guy and I'm really looking forward to being in his class and having the privilege of seeing him perform again.

Thanks for a wonderful night of music, Tony!

Oh, well done Ian, thanks for putting that up. Get the word out!!

He did mention an extra gig had been added in Bathgate but I did not know any more info on it. Scottish pickers who are in the area, get yourselves there on Tuesday night. Tony has just joined the list of the most special performers I have ever seen live - technically brilliant but also full of soul and fire - magnificent!

I was at the Gig in Hyde on Friday. Awesome is the only words to describe it, Tonys
slide skills, and vocals blew me away.
