Hi All!
Sorry - my life is to short for "snick-snack" - I´ll have stopping my postings at this Forum - I´ve met and am meeting to much ignorance - a banjo expert and pro-player like I can use his ressources in a better way. Plus I´m totally disabled due to severe back problems - the mentioned ressources are in my case somehow limited.
However - if anyone of you will like to contact me in the future regarding issues of interest to either you or me - please feel free mailing me offline.
I´ll keep my profile here at BHO for now:

Hate to lose a member because of some controversy on the Hangout. I've found very little "ignorance" on the Hangout, maybe some misunderstandings and some misinformation, but little ignorance. Take a break and come back, things will get better.

Nobody cares if you can''t dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.

You know , I think you are being too thin skinned. I have been a jerk on the HO and I think about 90% of people have wanted to tell me to bugger off on the HO but don't because of the the rules. That doesn't keep me from coming back. Some people think one way, others another. It doesn't mean one is right or another wrong. There is something to be said for freedom of speech and the exchange of ideas.
I do take issue with the HO sometimes in that people don't seem to give any useful licks. It's always opinions.
It COULD be a site to share great licks, chord substitutions, but a lot of members (probably in the "ignorance crowd" you don't like) prefer to just give opinions on things.
I am always on the search for new ideas, licks, chords, ways to arrange the melody but not everyone has my attitude.
for example, In the last month I have posted asking for :
good turnarounds = 2 responses
chord substitutions= 2 responses
C-licks= 4 responses
compare that to thousands of people yapping about nothing and you have a site the COULD be for banjo education but instead becomes an opinion factory.
I've always offered my best licks, chord substitutions, tricks on the HO, but I have gotten few licks in return.
But oh well. good luck and keep picking!!!

Sorry that I am not good enough for you.

Is there a punch line to this one?

I suggest we let Polle go in peace. I am sure his musical career takes up a good deal of his time.

I am not saying that nobody needs BHO, but Polle apparently doesn't for the time being.

So what are you gonna do, hang out on "my space"
Is you is, or is you isn't a banjer picker???
Almost everytime I post, i get a a multitude of responses telling me I'm all screwed up!!! Well okay, I am, but this is where banjo pickers hang out!!!
Maybe somethings are lost in translation,, like the sign in front of our local chinese resturant "Tottle your horn with vigor"
Ya got to let it go man,,,
