Hey yall, I am looking for a chord chart that would show me the positions of the chords all the way up the neck. Preferably Major Triads, Minor Triads, And The 7th Chords. Does any one know where I could find these? Thanks.

Go to amazon and type in that and put poster. I just got a huge poster for my wall with all the chords. Plus it tell you all the notes for the neck and has the circle of fifths on it also. It is a really good poster

Get the Janet Davis Mel Bay's banjo and chord reference wall chart from Janet Davis Music Store on line. You can droole over the picture of the Gibson style six checkerboard while you are learning your chord positions.

Why pay for a chord chart? There are 3 MAJOR shapes, 3 MINOR shapes a couple of 7th shapes and a few oddball type shapes for the banjo and if you know those, you can make about any chord anywhere on the banjo. All you have to do is know the shape and you can play any chord anywhere on the banjo.

Just remember that the shapes go up 1 fret at a time and if you know your sharps and flats, you can quickly figure out what chord is where on the banjo, be it up the neck or down the neck.

Yep their hard to get any better than whats right here on the site. Just about anything you need related to banjo is right here.

I framed my chord chart and it is hung in my office. It is not just informative but also a beautiful piece of art. Nice to look at and very practical to learn off of. I think it cost me all of 6 bucks.

there are plenty of books that have chord positions, some that you never have heard of. There is one in the back of Mel bays You can Teach yourself Banjo book.
