Since I am a beginner I cannot speak to quality of sound but my Music Teacher and several other experienced Banjo pickers say it has a real good sound.

I do not gig, yet. My goal is a Deering Sierra 5 string Professional Banjo. $2,700.00 is going to take a while to save up. Maybe then I will be good enough to gig. Would I gig with it, that is a resounding yes.

Oooops! Never checked the warranty. I figured for 280 bucks who needs one. By the way the $280.00 bought a hard case, picks, tuner, strap, intructional booklet on how to do rolls and a 2 hour video of lessons. Not a bad deal for a beginner.

I do not know enough to say, but once again, fellow pickers and my teacher have all said "Man I cannot believe you got all that for 280 bucks that is a sweet banjo."

I will purchase from www.Banjo.com again. When I save up enough money the Deering will be bought from them. This banjo can be heard on their website they play all of the banjos they sell and you can hear them playing. I was sold on the Liberty 100 after I heard it played on their website.
