Sound

I play bluegrass and melodic styles, ive nevr heard of this banjo before but i bought it because it had a great tone but no tone ring.... witch was suprising cuz its sound is coming very close too my hohner. its was extremly overbearingly loud when i first played it but i shoved a towl in the resonaterand its nice and tamed now. i dont how ever like the tuners becuz they are not laid back but stick out like a guitar, no big deal cuz they have budged in tuning since i got it three months ago but its a very nice banjo i love it for jamming!!

Setup

When i got the banjo its had been played hard and i had too adjust the tension hoop, the neck file a few up the neck frets and clean it up a bit but other than that it wasnt too bad.

Appearance

its a very [retty banjo the flange has a very nice desighn just has regular dot inlay makings on the neck and a standard arm rest and falt iron type tailpeice, the finsh is pretty basic but it has a very nice either maple or mahogany grainy look not sure what kind of wood it is but its very nice and pretty

Reliability

tuners are great no name on them however. finsh is very welly done no where signs. i can deffintly depned on it if taking care of like anything really lol.
