I have been playing with Tim's Ambrosia Red Maple bridge for a couple months now. It is on my Nechville Galaxy Custom job with tunneled 5th string. To my ear it is the best bridge I have had on the banjo & I have tried several. It is a single 12" radiused bridge, 5/8" high. The banjo has the cocobolo wood tone ring with titanium top. The tone is clear and even from trebles to basses across the strings. I play melodically and the sustain is just right for me. I keep the head tight using the 10" ruler/coin method of measurement. I recommend Tim's bridges.

These picks really are great. I bought the fingerpicks after using Acri SS for about five years. I also like the Acri fingerpicks, but these work better for me. They are easily adjusted, comfortable on the fingers and have a lighter feeling on the fingers. They can be snugly fitted to not come off but are not too tight. I like the Kelly speed thumbpick in combo with these. It has helped me increase in speed and even picking.

Bart Veerman kindly took on a request to make a prototype biscuit/bridge upgrade for my Gold Tone Dojo. He made five bridges from the various woods he uses in his great banjo bridges and I tested each of them to my "ear" for tone and volume. The final choice was a combination of his "enigma" and "mystery" woods. I definitely hear an improvement in tonal qualitites like better mid to low ranges & longer sustain. The volume was only slightly improved. Bart is one of only a few heros in this business, with his sincere interest in making a superior custom bridge and pleasing his customer.
