Got a friend of mine to buy a banjo mute in the Uk for me and he brought back the only mute that was available.Tried it on a compensated bridge and it wont fit.It is designed for straight bridges only.Tried it on a straight Stelling bridge also and it wont fit.This seems to be designed for extremely narrow bridges where it is just supposed to sit on top of the bridge with no locking mechanism.This is all very well if you play your banjo horizontally but when you play it the way your supposed to i.e sitting up it just falls off.Complete junk.Utter waste of money.Even a rating of 1 is way too high.
