I just completed a successful sale on Escrow.com to a new member on the hangout. We didn't know each other and he was reluctant to send off a few grand to someone he didn't know. I understood. This was a good solution. Barebones customer service as noted in other reviews, but once you get the hang of it and pay close attention to details of getting the terms right, it worked smoothly. I'd recommend it. I think once we were using this service, neither of us was worried about being scammed.

Having used and enjoyed the straight mute from Mike on my RK-80, I wrote Mike and asked if he would make a radiused mute which I could use on my Hatfield Custom. A few months later, I saw it advertised and this works as well as the first. Excellent workmanship and very quiet without changing the tuning of the banjo. It also comes in a nice bag. Since curvature of the radius may vary a bit, I had to make a slight adjustment - a quick light tap with a hammer is all it took. I've owned every banjo mute; none come close to these either straight or radius. I recommend it.
