Sound
|
I love the "pre-war" sound. Maybe a little plunky. Its not as loud as I had expected. It has a clean sound all the way up the neck. |

Setup
|
I bought it second hand, six monts old, so I can't comment on the factory setup. The action was a lttle high for my liking with an 11/16 bridge. I replaced it with a 5/8" and still feel its a little high. |

Appearance
|
It looks like a banjo! I'm not really into appearances - only the sound and playability. I would describe it as having a clean, classic look. |

It seems to be built to last with high quality hardware. It will probably outlive me. |

Customer Service
|
Since I bought it second hand I haven't dealt with the customer service. I did email them asking for their recommendation for a pickup, but never got a reply. |

I would absolutely recommend this banjo. If it was stolen I would cry my heart out. I'm not crazy about the radius neck though only because it takes a little getting used to when I switch to my other banjo. It's not quite as loud as some but has great tone. |

They're very comfortable, don't pinch your cuticles or slip off. They also have a great sound. I just bent them a little to the angle that I'm used to and got to pickin'. The picks with the flat face feel much better hitting the string than my old round faced ones. They mailed my picks out the day I ordered them and got them super fast. |
