DELUXE PLECTRUM BANJO. Great sound, loud and crispy but not annoying sound. Responsive and ready to be played since bought.

Setup

Yes, the banjo was well set up when purchased, never played before. I changed the tailpiece and put a new head.
It sounds great. I have never played a Richelieu or Ome, but I would say that this is close to the sound that they produce. Very good quality banjo, from head to toe.

I believe it has a mahogany neck. The neck has some finish wearing out/

Full sound, esy to play, great quality banjo. BALDWIN-ODE banjos are hard to come by. I am fortunate to have one

No, I did a bit of setup, it had been neglected for a while. No harm done. It is a solid well built banjo.

Appearance

This banjo has the simple headstock design, solid maple rim, multilayered neck. A heavy tone ring ( not typical in open backs). My guess is that at a previous life it was a resonator banjo
