Where Purchased: buckeye banjos
I bought this bridge after reading an article in BNL. After installing the bridge on my Recording King RK25, the bridge brighten the banjo up enough to move it up a couple of spaces in my herd of banjos. The bridge is certainly worth the money that Greg is asking for it.

A great big "me too" on the Buckeye bridge. It replaced the Moon bridge I've had for years on my Kalamazoo and I heard a modest but noticeable improvement in the volume and warmth. Good note separation too.

I needed to get a new bridge for my cherry Brooks banjo. I had sanded down my old Sampson walnut bridge a little to improve the action and over time is was starting to sag. I liked the design feature of Greg's solid foot cherry bridge. I got a heavy weight, 9/16 ths inch with Crowe spacing. My initial impression is that this bridge has solidified the bass and is overall a little brighter than the walnut bridge. I personally don't hear any difference in volume but I wasn't looking for that in the first place. I think this is a great bridge and is right up there with the walnut Sampson, my favorites for the last five years. For some reason, I don't care for maple bridges. Cosmetically, the cherry bridge looks nice on the Brooks with a cherry neck and pot and it was reasonably priced to boot. Highly recommended.

I recently bought a 5/8" heavy solid foot bridge from Greg at Buckeye Banjos. It has made a world of difference with my Enoch Tradesman! It is beautifully made and really brings out a fuller sound from my banjo--highly recommended! Plus, Greg was a delight to deal with--great communication, great service, amazing bridge!

Where Purchased: Greg Galbreath (Maker)
I just put one of Greg Galbreath's new solid-foot bridges on my Bart Reiter banjo and it sounds fantastic. I have the heavy weight model.
I immediately noticed an improvement in volume and sustain. It also improved the balance between the strings and added some detail to the bottom end. I think the solid-foot design is key.

I've experimented with bridges before and heard some difference, but never as much as this. I'm very pleasantly surprised....thanks Greg!
