Where Purchased: From Gary Price
This is the best case on the market! This thing is built like a tank. Excellent construction inside and out. Great rubber seal and latches. My favorite feature is the two pockets inside to store stuff. They are huge and being able to get to my stuff without having to touch the banjo is great. I looked at the caltons very close but for less money and better features this is as good as it gets. If you are thinking of getting a flight case dont buy without checking these out. Worth every penny and gary was great to deal with.Only draw back is they are heavy. But gary said his new case covers have wheels so that will help. I love that I dont have to worry about my huber getting hurt in the case now. The best case you can get without a doubt. Check them out and see for yourself.

I bought this directly from Gary. It is almost an art object, because the functionality of the design is so exquisite. It is heavy, but very well balanced. There is ample storage room. The hinges are especially heavy duty. It is much easier to keep my banjo in a case like this, instead of on a stand, because I can get to storage without disturbing the banjo and the lid has a trustworthy vertical setting for ease of use. My only caviat would be to those too frail to deal with a case this heavy, and in such a situation I would still recommend this case, because of the security it offers, as long as the player would realize he or she would need help in transporting the case. But it is that good and the only case to which I will entrust my Granada.

Where Purchased: Chief Banjo
Well made and beautiful, but with some fatal flaws. First, it weighs at least 10 pounds more than my Calton. Second, it does not balance properly at the handle -- it tips forward. Third, it apparently does not firmly hold the heaviest part of the banjo (the neck, rim, tone ring, etc.). My new Chief resonator was broken when I opened the case the first time -- broken at the neck end, suggesting that there was enough movement at the heel of the neck to drive the weight of the banjo through the resonator. I think this type of damage could also happen with a Calton, but I prefer the lighter weight and better balance of the Calton case.

Where Purchased: Banjo. com (showroom)
This looks like a very good case, the build of it is very sturdy and tough. It is a little heavy, but I can deal with that for maximum protection for my Banjo!
