How It Works

There are 13 major forums in the Banjo Hangout discussion area. A forum sponsor gets an ad displayed at the top of all page views within that forum. An ad consists of a small graphic, a title, and some descriptive text, all linked to the sponsor's website. Ads are not animated.

With approximately 1.8 million page views spready across the forums each month, this is a significant amount of exposure!

Creating and Editing Your Ad(s)

As a forum sponsor, you are given access to simple web-based tools for maintaining your ad(s). These tools make it easy for you to add/edit/delete your ad text, links, and graphics anytime you'd like!

You can run one ad, or set up multiple ads which the system will display in a rotating fashion (that is, the ad will change on each page view).

Ad Guidelines

Guidelines are still being developed and will be posted soon. Ads will require editorial approval by Banjo Hangout staff before going live.

Forum Sponsorship Costs

Cost is determined by the amount of traffic each forum receives. "Impressions per month" is the minimum number of ad views you can expect to receive each month if you sponsor a particular forum.

A minimum 3-month commitment is required for all forum sponsors.

Bonus Features/Extras

I'll set up a real-time statistics page to track your ad statistics (impressions and click-thrus). You will be notified of discounted advertising opportunities which are made available only to sponsors, and you will also be listed as a Featured Link at the top of appropriate categories in the links pages. Lastly, you will be listed on the sponsors page.

If there are multiple sponsors interested in sponsoring a particular forum, I will rotate out sponsors every three months to give everyone a fair chance. So be sure to let me know if you'd like to sponsor a particular forum, even if it's currently sponsored!

I will be randomly selecting forum sponsors for the 4th quarter of 2009 on Monday, September 28th, so fill out the signup form before then to get your name in the pool for the forum(s) you want to sponsor!
