How did you fix the rim?

Actually, I got another cradle strap from Levy Leather in Canada. No screws, no metal...I like it! I took it to a luthier near here, and he glued the rim at the split, first. Once that was set, he glued the back of the resonator back on, matching up and reconnecting the binding. He did a great job!
