My open back Eagle II came from my Deering dealer with an Osborne renaissance head, and I love the sound and look!

I have an Eagle 11 (with resonator)...what did the Renaissance head do to the sound?

In theory it is supposed to be a bit less bright, but I am unable to hear any difference.
