This is a Gibson banjo that I bought from Arthur Hatfield at SPBGMA this year. Prewar 20's bracket shoe rim, JBS tone ring, Gill resonator and a beautiful Hatfield neck. It is a good one in my mind. It grabbed me and I could not let go and believe you me, that JBS tone ring makes a difference.

Thats nice Donnie. I was Playing an Old Gibson fitted with a Huber Ring yesterday at a Pick, what a lovely, lovely sound, and feel. those Old Gibsons sure are special.
