You're in a closed D chord position so your fingers are on 2, 3, 4 so you'd take your ring finger off the 4th string, 4th fret and use your ring finger to make that 3rd string 4th fret hammer and then do the 4 - 2 pull off using that same ring finger. Does that make sense? NOT easy to do.
