Yopp, I like your style.We have the same tastes in building.I like to build a cheaply as I can too.But I try to make mine look old ,or old time style ,so far.

I was obsessed with the idea of a headless banjo when I built that one. The tailpiece tuner works great for steel strings. My inspiration usually comes from odd places. The other day I saw a plastic desert plate. Yesterday and today I have been working on what will probably be a banjo-uke using the plate as the head.
