One of my favorites scenes from 'The Great Escape' ...always gives me a rush, thinking about the moment of freedom and exhilaration this piece brought about; and it never ceases to remind me of the freedom we take for granted.

i to love this scene but ive aways thouhgt it funny that the Germans were using Triumphs in WW2, I suppose they had to use one for the film they would never have been able to do that jump with a WW2 BMW or A Zundapp but its still a great scene.

at the mandolin bros in NYC-there are 2 gibsons-0ne nechville- a bishline- several deerings-
a huber and a stelling-- I might go and try them out.
