I believe this is the TSS 250 I owned (only 25 made) I can't remember if it was either a 69 or 70 model year. A throughbred Spanish hand made racer with one off sand cast engine cases, cylinder and head. It was 250 cc World Champion Ginger Molloy's personal bike. I sold it along with my original 5 string Whyte Laydie in 1977 I got $550 for the bike and $500 for the Vega WL...

Suzuki team rider Ron Grand sold it to me. Ron was British and a friend of New Zealander, Ginger Molloy. G. Molloy was the 250cc World Champion riding one of these water cooled Bultaco's. This bike was about four years out of date when I got it. No longer a viable racer, I tried to make it street worthy... but without any luck.

Just stunning. I thought it was a w/c Metrella, but I vaguely remember the TSS 250 designation, now. Sold it for $550 back in '77?? I sold a basket case (85%) 1939 Triumph Speed Twin about the same time for $1200. Couldn't you just die now?? If I'd hung on to all the old bikes and guns I used to have, my retirement would be a lot healthier now. Nice racing photo, too. Best..........Jack.
