I played this tune with the amazing David Bromberg - live on 90.7 WFUV Fordham radio, on February 4, 1999. It was recorded, put on an WFUV CD and used later as a gift for station fundraisers. This version is part Bromberg, part Tony DeMarco (Sligo fiddle style).

Austin McGregor, is that you writing on behalf of Northern Departure? That's a big compliment coming from you. That 'Shenandoah Valley Breakdown' video is "deadly" stuff. Try this tuning out and go back for 'Drowsy Maggie', which goes back to the 1938 Frank O'Higgins version, also Seamus Ennis, Liz Carroll and others.
