A close-up of the only known photo of us at the one and the only Black Mountain Bluegrass Festival, Kelowna, British Columbia, 1977. Although we were booked as one of the professional bands, we got bumped when another group was hired to come up from California ("Who is this Vern Williams guy anyway?"). However, we entered and proceeded to win the amateur band contest, and ended up making more money than if we had retained the original booking.
