That would be an accurate sentiment for Banshee when we first brought her home. Tyson didn't hesitate one bit up or down -- pretty amazing given there's about 12 steps straight down to the yard! Actually, Banshee was more like "No way in !#%* I'm going down those things!" I had to come home from work (about 25 mile drive)during lunch one day to carry Banshee down the stairs inside the house (hardwoods!). She followed my wife upstairs but wouldn't come down. My wife couldn't even entice her down, even with a hot dog or cheese.

Yep!!! Been there! I carried Magnus (75 pounds!) down the steps for the first week. He would go up but not down. Finally a friend came over with her two greyhounds...they did a show and tell, and Magnus followed them! When we got Maggie...she followed Magnus. Now they zoom like crazy up and down and up and down and up and down!!!
