No, I wish I had invented it. I purchased it several years ago from a classified ad in the Banjo Newsletter. It was advertised as the "Pik-Minder" and sold for only a few dollars. I don't recall who was selling them (although I think it was an individual), and I never saw the ad again.
This thing is handier than pockets on your underwear! It wouldn't be difficult to make, and I take my hat off to whomever invented it. I just wish I knew who it was.
