I am pretty sure John Balch took this photo. It appears to be at my parent's home in the Mt. Zion community close to Viola, Tennessee. My folks always had chairs in the front yard and it does appear to be a dirt road in the background. John and his wife Sheila would visit with us with my parents on occasion and it was pretty common for John to pack his camera. This banjo was my primary instrument for many years. It is a Little Wonder Vega circa 1922 with a Randy Wood neck. Should have kept it...
