My son's mandolin

My son brought over his mandolin for the weekend. He just got it. It's a cheap A-body, could not see him spending several hundred $$ for something he may not like after a few days.

I showed him how to log on Mandolin Hang Out, set him up with a user name so he could take advantage of all that it has to offer in the way of tabs, lessons and other instruction.

Says he wants to learn Celtic style. He was picking out Black Velvet Band by the time he left Sunday night.

It was good to see him take an interest in something other than video games......
