Things are simple with my, musically at least. Been playing percussion instruments for over 20 years. Spanning most standard genres (orchestral, symphonic, kit, marching) as well as their associated stylings. The only exception is with drum kit, I have played big band, swing, jazz, rock, blues, well you get the idea. However, after that much time I have figured that it is time to learn something new. Being a collector of Slingerland drums, knowing that they made banjos prior to drums, it seemed like a logical choice. Plus as far as I know it is the only non-percussion instrument to use a drum head.....
