Been pickin' on the guitar since I was about 13 or 14, maybe someday I'll learn to play it. I grew up on bluegrass and gospel music. In 1982 I got saved, got in church for good, and been playing around with southern gospel music ever since. For the last 15 or 16 years I've been playing at nursing homes, church meetings, a local restaurant, or anywhere else people would listen with local group of guys we call "Heav'n Bound". We'll play at the drop of a hat, and if we have to, we'll drop it. In December of 2011, I picked up a banjo and started messing around with it. I liked it so I gave that one to my granddaughter and bought me a new Gold Tone. Now we're learning together and having a ball.
