Played banjo for the Northern Illinois based bluegrass group Weekend Wages 1982-1984. During that same time period, played banjo for a summer run of the bluegrass musical "The Robber Bridegroom" at the Clock Tower Dinner Theatre. Played banjo and guitar for Birmingham based group Smokin' Mirrors during late 1990s until May 2000.
