. . . been playin' music and singing since age 4, when I learned accordion. Performance major (flute) at NE Conservatory of Music in 70s, BA in geology from Boston U. , sang with Opera Co. of Boston and Boston Lyric Opera for a few years, started playing fingerstyle guitar 20 years ago and make my living as a children's entertainer, playing acoustic folk and kids' music in schools and libraries and such. . . ALWAYS loved banjo and figured I better learn to play before I get too old to lift one.
