Born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y. Joined the Navy at 21, spent 9 years on nuclear ships and submarines. I've lived in... NY, NJ, CT, VA, FL, MA, IL, NE, CA, TN and finally AZ. I'm retired now and besides banjo I build Tiffany Lamps (my first love -sorry)! Started the banjo in 2008, after 25 years of threatening to do so, it's coming slowly, very slowly (like the molasses in Winter).
