After falling in love with bluegrass banjo when I was 10, I waited 28 years and bought my first 5-string in 2002. My wife, not knowing of this desire when she married me in 1990, has discovered how hard it can be to live with a banjo picker/ pick collector/ photographer/ idiot. I work as a photographer in Richmond, VA. I have been blessed in life with good friends and family. And I've found that "family model" earplugs, sold at most reputable banjo stores, are only $1.99 a pair. I aspire to one day become "intermediate"
