playing guitar since" the great 50's folk scare". I thought it was time I added banjo...playing banjo now for 8 years with long neck and fishing line strings 30,40,50,60 lb test and a nylgut Aquilla 4th. weird! but it works for me... formed The Classmate Trio...3 high school classmates ...playing and singing all the way to the poorhouse...stellar vocals backed up by instrumental mediocrity...group consists of my banjo, and guitar , a lead singer on guitar and a great female co-lead on kazoo and tin whistle
