Banjo Roots

I have roots in Biscoe, Montgomery County, N.C. They tell me my grandmother used to play the banjo when she was a girl, though I never saw her with one myself. But I confess, I feel like I'm channeling from somewhere beyond myself whenever I play in this home-grown, two-finger style of mine.
