Nice to find out about this group. I have been playing Blue Grass Christian music and other types of Christian music for over forty years now.
I also build long neck banjos. I think the long neck banjo adds a great deal to the musical tone and dynamics of Christian music, especially the old hymns.

Typically, the banjo tone is heard as higher than the actual notes. That is where the long neck comes in and the extra three frets come in. The banjo is such a joy ful instrument and with the three extra frets adds a greater range.
