I don't think anything gets my blood pumping like Ralph's banjo playing. That hard-driving forward roll is like a kick in gut. I love his clawhammer as well. Probably the best to play both styles. I listen to Ralph or the Stanley brothers every day, and I've been doing so since I was about 12 years old. Never gets old.

	danielbunch1 says: 10/17/2011 9:33:37 AM I agree. I downloaded a few albums with him and the clinch mountain boys off of itunes. My dad introduced me to his music when I was little and I've loved it since then. To me he is bluegrass. His voice is just haunting and his banjo playing is outstanding.

	From Greylock to Bean Blossom says: 12/15/2011 5:41:31 PM I like his playing as much as anyone and when he played that old Grenada I thought he got the best banjo tones of anyone.
