I feel this is a neat banjo because Sonny Osborne thought the Music Link made a product in this price range that was good enough to put his signature on it. This is probably the last Banjo that Sonny will endorse and the only import Sonny ever endorsed. They are not being made anymore, so this is an instant collectable. The Scout is a "limited" edition maybe less then 200 were made, and to my ear sound just a little bit better then the rest of the RK lineup, due to the fact it has some features that none of the rest of the RK model's do not and will not ever have.

	gathumper says: 1/16/2012 7:23:23 PM My Scout is my first (and only) banjo so I can't offer a lot of perspective, but I am really happy with mine! I was originally going to get an RK35, but I ran across a deal on Ebay for a new Scout about a month ago that was just too good to pass up. It's cool to think it might be collectable, but I'll probably never sell mine. Looking forward to my 5-string adventure with my faithful Scout!
