Celebrating the music of Ireland and Appalachia! Starting Saturday, April 7th I'll be co-hosting this session with multi-instrumentalist and music instructor Jacob Moore. 10am-1pm the 1st and 3rd Sat. of month at Ashland Coffee and Tea. Come join us as we mix n' match old-time fiddle tunes w/ trad session tunes. You can think of it as an Irish session that is mindful of key, or as an old-time jam that also plays jigs, reels and hornpipes. Is it called Miss McCloud's or Hop High Ladies, is it Paddy on the Railroad or Merry Blacksmith? Doesn't matter. If we get clawhammer players to play jigs and accordion & whistle players to take on Cluck Old Hen and Cumberland Gap then we'll have done our job!
