Hi Folks

We are looking into putting together a banjo camp or workshop in the Lancaster Ohio area. At this point we are looking for feedback on the number of people that might have an interest in attending, what kind of structure to the classes that you would like to see, instructors or teachers that interest you, time of year and anything else that might be of interest to you at an event like this. The camps and workshops seem to be all around us but very few are in the state of Ohio, feedback from you might change that. Thanks for your thoughts and input.

	Stephen45710 says: 3/7/2012 3:15:41 AM I'm interested, year around. I'm going to clawdan's camp in SE Ohio in July. That will be my first camp so I can't offer an informed opinion on format or instructors.

We are thinking about gathering between 3-5 pm on a Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday till maybe 2 or 3, What do you think? we are looking to taylor this to something that most people would like, we also know that it will not work for everyone. 	DoubleG says: 4/26/2012 11:18:19 PM I'm not sure what level I should be classified as but I've been playing music my whole life and just one year on the banjo. I'm going to my first banjo camp in June up in Michigan but would consider something closer to home for sure. Taking lessons up here in the Cleveland area from Mark Olitsky in the clawhammer style. I would enjoy some fretless specific instruction. Having a 'Jam List' for BG and CH Jams would make it nice to come prepared. Also a class on the different types of banjo sounds (i.e. Dobson, Tuba-phone etc.) would help us new guys get a chance to hear and play different banjos.
