We are still feeling the loss of the father of Bluegrass banjo, but think it is time to celebrate how far the banjo has come. Through the creative musicianship of Scruggs, Reno, Keith, Trischka and Fleck flows an energy that inspires fans and players and Luthiers alike.

The Amazon Cascade Nuvo ($6800 sale Price) is a crowning representation of the state of banjo art now. (Inquire with Tom for pictures of this particular instrument.) Nechville’s sense of design is not flowery or over- ornamented.

The utilitarian lines and shapes of this instrument lead to one overarching goal; exquisite playability. Inspiration flows from the cascading inlays, the rare antique Brazilian Rosewood of the fingerboard lends mystique and warm nuance to the tone color. We chose old authentic Walnut for the neck and resonator for vintage tone and stability. The polished Corona frame houses a special tone chamber comprised of a handmade block style Brazilian Rosewood tone ring.

This may be the world’s best tone wood combination, constructed for maximum efficiency of luscious sound per pound. The wide, but slim neck will surprise you with its ease of play, and you’ll never lose a capo again. Our patented built in capo keeps your banjo in tune while you instantly change capo positions.
