Has any one ever put a Renaissance head on their Deering resonator banjo? If so, what did it sound like, sustain good? i have one on my Vega and love the look and sound but i would rather not buy one, put it on my Deluxe and then hate it haha..yalls help is apprieciated :)

	BDCA says: 4/14/2012 7:31:12 PM Yup, Just finished a 4 hour gig with my Renaissance GDL.. I think it rounds out the edges and produces beautiful bell like tones near the neck and cracking, session busting tone near the bridge. It has to be REALLY tight..94 on the drum dial... As someone said to me a while ago, your banjo doesn't have the sound that people hate banjos for.. Cya! Bob

I was in love with the Boston but I found a good deal on an older Deering Sierra that looks brand new. I love it! I was a guitar player for years but I feel like I've found the instrument I was supposed to play all along. Finally! It's pure joy to hit these strings!
