Terrapin Station...from the year I graduated high school!

	BanjoGat says: 3/19/2011 4:40:56 PM The night I saw the Dead in London in 1990, they played Terrapin Station. I never really took the track seriously before that, but it was a truly powerful experience. What a night that was. They opened the first set with my all time favourite Dead song, Jack Straw, and closed the second set with my all time favourite Band song, The Weight. Can't complain at that.

But when I lived in CA, I had a lot of friends who had seen them live many times, and some who had jammed with them at times. Wish I could have been in on that. Unfortunately, I moved to CA (just east of San Francisco) in 1995. I arrived there shortly before Jerry G. passed away. I've been back in Louisiana since 2002. But I'm rambling. I'm thinking some American Beauty before bed may be in order. OH...The Weight...also my favorite Band song.
