I've been messing around with this lick and was wondering how most of you play the right hand : TMTTIIT 3rd string (double thumb) 2nd string ( double index)
or

with Lee Highway , a band out of Portland, Oregon and I believe he learned it from his friend and mentor Alan Munde.

I would highly recommend Bill Evan's "Power Pickin' Vol. 3. It has that lick and many ohers. This DVD is done by Acutab and is as good as it gets.

I've got the Acutab/ Bill Evans DVDs. I can perform the lick fairly well, I was just wondering if anyone uses an alternating thumb/index for the middle part of the lick rather than the double thumb/double index.

I use the thumb index method. I don't see how some of these guys can do it repeating fingers like that.

I've spent a lot of time with that lick myself. I started off with alternating fingers, then switched to double T and I after a frend went to a workshop with Tony Triska. He told him to play it with the double T and I. I do that now on the slower songs but I switch to the alternating fingering for the faster ones....Hope that helps.
