Mostly opaque ,
1/8” square-section brass flesh hoop,
NEW SIX-step stain & finish process. This head is among the first batch mounted with a NEW 6-step stain & finish process designed to enhance the appearance and increase stability. This process involved several extra steps and takes 48 hours longer than my standard stain & cure. It will be offered in the future at a higher cost. But this head is selling at my current standard price. I am simply requesting response and feedback from the purchaser as to how the hide looks & performs with the new finish.

I can custom mount heads in 11” and 12” sizes. My stock of hides includes, natural goat hides (mottled, opaque), bleached goat (white), natural calf (mottled & semi-translucent), and premium calfskin from Stern Tanning Co. (higher cost). Heads can be coffee stained – or natural (unstained). Please contact me for details and availability.
