I purchased this banjo used about five years ago from Elderly Instruments while I was focusing on clawhammer, but have since moved on to other playing styles that I enjoy playing on a fretted banjo (old time 3 finger), so its time to let it go. Its clean and in good shape, with a few scuffs here and there an indent in the back of the pot where it was knocked into something. I tried to get a good shot of the dent, which is only a cosmetic flaw and has been there since I bought the banjo from Elderly.
When not being played, its been stored in a tweed Canada HSC, which was made for a 12''pot, but fits this 11'' Reiter comfortably. It had steel strings and a Remo Fiberskyn on it when I purchased it, but I have it set up with an Elite Renaissance head and Nylgut Minstrels for low tuning (made no modifications to the nut, just swapped in Cole-style bridge.) I'd be happy to set it back up with steel strings if you'd prefer them.
