Cheat a Keys D tuners will mar the finish. Spend the money and get Keith tuners.

Cut a couple of small pieces of felt and glue them to the inside surfaces of the Cheat-a-Keys. Just make sure you don't get glue into the mechanism. That will keep from marring the finish on your peghead. I have done that several times.

I can use Keith or Schaller D tuners okay, but I still like the tuners that bend the strings. I have used several sets of Cheat-a-Keys and I like them. I have never used Mighty D Tuners, but I've heard mixed reviews about them. I see from another post of yours that you were not very impressed with them.
Right now, I have Cheat-a-Keys on one of my banjos and old-style cam tuners on the others. I have several projects in the pipeline that I may have to use locking D tuners on, but in the future, I will be going back to cam-style tuners of one variety or the other. Likely, I will be using Cheat-a-Keys.
