A client requested that I build a mini banjo using a Dixie Banjo Uke pot assembly. He requested that it have a blond finish with no stain. It was built out of curly maple and has a pop on-off resonator. The case was built using poplar shelving board and was coated with roll-on automotive bed liner.

It's made with stainless steel and pop rivets. The rivets swell up on the underside when installed. I pushed the nail part back out of the rivet. The strings fit around the rivets and stay in place due to the swollen shape of the installed rivet. It works great but installing the strings is a little tedious!
