I didn't know about the two-piece flange being previously known to only accompany a Mastertone tone ring. What surprises me most is the blank Mastertone block. I can't recall ever seeing an original Gibson neck with one of those.
I've heard of an original Mastertone decal inside the rim of a sub-Mastertone banjo.
