I've had your questions for 15 years. The whole time I could have been posting from the 200 fiddle tunes and the 300 songs I know. Every time (2-3 people) someone has tried to help me, they start using computereze language I do not understand. I have a 2019 Mac computer. Is it possible to make and post videos with it? I simply do not know. Does some tutorial exist on how to post videos that is specific for my computer, AND, BHO? I do not know. And yes, is there a You Tube huddle to jump through? I do not know. All I can say is, good luck! banjered?

It's probably better to just use your phone rather than a computer as an added step.
As far as hangout sites, you have to post your video elsewhere(YouTube)and then add it(link) to the "media" on the hangout site.

Prolly need a YouTube username and password. Sorry.
Most phones have a share symbol in the corner of most every app. Touching the share symbol should bring up YouTube if you have the app.

I'm not a big YouTube fan myself but it's a ness. evil. Further talk about other video hosting usually looses folks my age.

the way Eric set it up you post it to you tube get the link from there --then go to the video page here and post it at the add video spot under it's guidance--you have to be a member at you tube --and have a video of proper file type on your rigg for it to upload--that would be an m-peg -flash vid? etc--when you get it on the vid page --it will be available as an add on at the bottom of forum post in the posting process--I don't have a phone only a lap top--but they may have an easy short cut for posting to you tube

You can without going through YouTube. Test run - video yourself for 5 seconds, it’ll end up in your photo/video gallery. You can get a url link from there by selecting the video and clicking the “send” icon ,, the box with an upward arrow. Get the iCloud link at the bottom. Then post the link on the sound off category on BHO. You’ve got this, Al!

here's what comes up when I click the "send" icon. So then click on the "copy iCloud link" below

A 5 second video might be small enough for that to work. We should see how big a file BHO will accept?

It doesn't matter whether you us a pc, android phone or i-phone , or even old-school video camera as long as you can create a video file and upload it to a place where a url can find it. If you go to the "post video" page under "media" on your home page you'll see it's asking for a url to point to rather than a file to upload. So by the time BHO knows about it's no longer on your device as you've copied it elsewhere. It asks for a youtube URL. Somebody else here got it to work for a facebook URL. I don't know if it would work for a url that points to an mp4 in the cloud on your personal google drive, MS OneDrive, icloud or whatever. If you message me with the file attached I'll see if that works, and/or post it on youtube (under my never used and obscurely named account) and send you the url.
